I was perusing the Solarbotics BEAM robotics site today when I stumbled across this section dedicated to Motor drivers. There are various schematics for H-Brigdges; something I’d heard of in passing, but never understood. This creates some very interesting possibilities. These designs are intended to drive a small DC motor with low current.
